    After 15 years of gout on and off, lots of research and trial and error with an unwillingness to take pharmaceutical drugs daily, I’ve finally found MY remedy and preventative for f$:@<}?n gout.
    I take these now and can pretty much eat and drink what I want now, (as long as I don’t go overboard with my known triggers below.
    REMEDIES for me
    Celery seed pill daily, at least 4000mg
    Cherry juice concentrate at least 50ml every other day
    I drink filtered water at least 2 litres a day
    KNOWN TRIGGERS for me (in no special order)
    SUGAR, (fructose) found in soft drinks, fruit drinks, too much ice cream, ice blocks etc.
    FRUIT (too much fruit, especially watermelon)
    Too much MEAT (any type red, white, fish, sausages etc.) and don’t mix them.
    TRAUMA or INJURY ie kicking your toe, bursitis or a sprain the affected area can become gout ridden and has on me in the past.
    CHANGE OF SEASON to colder temperatures.
    Suspected triggers
    Excess processed fatty foods
    Everybodies chemistry is different but this works for me.
