I use Stubborn Gout Pain photo to illustrate Relief From Stubborn Gout Pain. My 3-point plan for effective gout pain relief is:
- Colchicine (Colcrys) is a first line attack on gout pain. It stops inflammation spreading.
- Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) reduce the inflammation which causes gout pain.
- Analgesics block the pain of gout.
To understand more about why this plan is effective, you need to understand how uric acid causes gout pain. I explain this in my uric acid guidelines.
