Announcing The GoutPal Network

I have hinted at new services to extend the depth and reach of my gout support services.

From my clear realization that better gout support services depend on you, I now have a clearer vision of how gout support services can improve. There are many opportunities for helping gout sufferers fix gout quicker, and there are many opportunities for gout patients to improve their own knowledge and understanding.

Though I will introduce several new gout support service improvements through 2012, now is a good time to lay the foundation for networking these services so that they grow quicker from our collective efforts.

You can be involved in the GoutPal network in many different ways.

Though I listed several opportunities in my earlier article, there are many other ways to contribute to a global gout support network. The expected benefits or rewards are:

  • Knowledge
  • Rewards
    • Sell your products and services
    • Earn commission on 3rd party products and services
    • Earn advertising revenue
  • Influence
    • Promote your own business
    • Promote a good cause or charity

However, these rewards are deliberately quite vague. It is when you consider the extended scope of a global gout support network, that specific benefits become clearer. Thus, I extend my vision of the GoutPal network to encompass:

  • Contribute to gout discussions
  • Start and manage your own discussions related to gouty arthritis
  • Write guest articles
  • Create your own website in the gout support network
  • Start or join your local gout support group
  • Promote gout support on Facebook, Google Plus, Xmarks, or your own favorite social network

As you might see, I could really do with some help on Facebook and Google Plus (very early days). I’ve only just begun exploring Xmarks sharing features, but it looks good. How are your social networking skills?

You might envisage opportunities I had never considered. If so, add your suggestions or share your opinions in the gout forum.

I’m working on the infrastructure for this network. This is a heads-up for what will be available next year, but if you have a burning desire to get involved, contact me privately through my Google Plus page.

Also, you need to understand what your doctor tells you. So this website explains gout science. But it is definitely NOT a substitute for medical advice.

Information on this website is provided by a fellow gout sufferer (Keith Taylor) with an accountant's precision for accurate data. But no medical qualifications. So you must seek professional medical advice about gout and any other health matters.
