Swollen Joint Page Most Popular For March 2008

My swollen joint page is quite simple, but has proved to be most popular in March 2008

Perhaps it is the fact that many people are told that gout is characterized by a swollen big toe. Whilst that is the case for many people, my statistics show that slightly more than half of gout sufferers have big toe swelling.

This reminds me of my problems getting a proper gout diagnosis, as my doctor did not believe that my swollen ankle could be caused by gout, as I had no pain or swelling in my big toe.

Gout Information

With the increasing popularity of my GoutPal website, I am collecting more and more information from my readers. This is often about their own experiences, which I share throughout the site where appropriate. We also discuss these in my Gout Blog and Gout Forum.

In this Gout Information section, I look at those parts of my website that prove popular with visitors. This is not just the total number of page views, but also how much interest those pages generate.

I have assigned an index that, hopefully, measures the popularity of each page. I'll report the most popular pages each month. It will be interesting to see if any patterns emerge. I have noticed that some pages are popular when new, but fade in time. Other pages remain popular for many months.

Perhaps you'd like to tell me which pages you like best and why. The best place to discuss this is my Gout Wish List Forum.
