Gout Research

GoutPal’s gout research ensures you get facts about gout.

Other websites repeat the gout myths that confuse you and many doctors

I present facts that help you make sense of the mysteries of gout, and here are many of my sources so you can check your own gout facts, maybe find your own gout cures.

There are millions of pages of gout research, with thousands more gout studies added every month. Keeping track of new research using standard Internet search engines is a nightmare. Search engine results include many, many pages from people twisting gout facts to sell you something, or even making their own gout myths.

The sources listed here contain scientific gout research. Researchers may not get it right every time, but this is your best chance of separating gout fact from fiction

Gout Clinical Trials

New gout research projects are launched every week. The most interesting ,for gout sufferers seeking practical advances in gout care, are gout clinical trials. In this type of gout research, new gout cures, treatments, and techniques are tested to see how effective they are.

Due to the transient nature of clinical trials, I announce them on Gout Pal Interactive. The results form part of the permanent body of scientific gout evidence, so I report them on this website.

Gout Research Sources

There is a well established abbreviation scheme for many gout journals and related sources. I use these whenever I report scientific results, and the full descriptions are included here.
