In this subsection of the Gout Treatment section, I review new gout medicine that is in development.

In the normal course of events, I will introduce new gout medicines as they are announced in the gouty arthritis news articles. If significant events happen during the development of the treatment, I add review pages here. Eventually, the new drugs become mainstream treatments, and I include them in the treatment section.

I give most priority to mainstream gout treatments. Gout medicine in development is interesting, but it cannot help you now, unless you join a clinical trial.
